At Baluniverse Sim we take the privacy of our visitors seriously. This page explains, in plain language, what information we process when you browse sim.baluniverse.com, for what purpose, and how you can exercise your rights. What we collect
Baluniverse Sim is a static site generated with Astro and served from a CDN. We do not offer user accounts, we do not ask you to fill in registration forms, and we do not store personal data on our own servers. In particular, we do not run any first-party analytics tool (Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, etc.) and we do not forward navigation data to third parties beyond what is strictly required to serve the pages.
Your browser may leave basic technical records on the Cloudflare Pages infrastructure (truncated IP address, user agent, request time), as happens on any website. Those logs are handled by Cloudflare under their own policy and we only use them for security and diagnostics.
Cookies and advertising
To sustain the site we show ads through Google AdSense. When you accept cookies on the consent banner we load the AdSense script, which can place cookies on your device to display ads and measure their performance. Google acts as a provider; you can read the details of how it processes that data on its how it uses information from partner sites page.
If you do not accept cookies, we will not load the AdSense script at all. The legal basis for this processing is your prior consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw whenever you want.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, as well as to object to and restrict its processing and to data portability. Since we do not store personal information on our own systems, in practice these rights are exercised against Google with respect to AdSense cookies. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes on the site or in the tools we use. When the change is relevant we will publish the new version at this same URL and update the last-updated date at the top. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
